How can I apply for the International Undergraduate Program (KKI) at FTUI?

How much is the tuition fee for the KKI program at FTUI?

How can I obtain my academic transcript?

A temporary academic transcript can be requested through PAF Online.

What is the procedure for credit transfer?

After receiving your academic transcript from the overseas university, you can request a credit transfer through your department by submitting the following documents:

  • Credit transfer form
  • Academic transcript
  • Syllabus of the courses taken at the overseas university

For double-degree students, please ensure you process your credit transfer every semester. The department can no longer process credit transfers for multiple semesters at once as previously allowed.

Do students still need to pay tuition fees at UI while studying at an overseas university?

Students are required to pay tuition fee at UI based on the following academic status:

  • Student Exchange: Students must pay 100% of the applicable BOP.
  • Overseas: Students are required to pay IDR 2,250,000 or 10% of the applicable BOP.

Double Degree

When do double-degree students begin their studies at overseas partner universities?

Students typically begin their double degree studies at partner universities in the 5th or 7th semester, details on each partner university’s intake can be seen here.

What preparations should students complete before beginning their double degree studies at partner universities abroad?

Before students continue their double degree studies at overseas partner universities in semester 5 or 7, students must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Have passed all the courses listed in the study program curriculum structure with a minimum grade of C and have a GPA that matches the requirements stated in the collaboration document
  • Have language proficiency:
    • IELTS minimum 6.5 with a score for each component of at least 6.0, or
    • TOEFL iBT minimum 85 with a minimum score of 20 for each component, and
    • Additional language requirement for student going to UDE, B2 Level German
  • Apply at a partner university in the 4th or 6th semester with a minimum grade of C and having a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0

What is the procedure for students continuing their double degree studies at a partner university?

  • Prepare your study plan and have it signed by your academic supervisor and the head or secretary of your department.
  • Request a conditional recommendation letter by completing this form.
  • Apply to the partner university once you have received the conditional recommendation letter.
  • The partner university sends the Letter of Acceptance to the International Office UI or FTUI.

What are the estimated costs for students participating in a double degree program at overseas partner universities?

Can a student in the double-degree scheme with a GPA below 3.0, but who has passed all courses, still register to continue their double degree at an overseas partner university?

Students must meet specific requirements to continue their double degree studies at overseas partner universities. Any student with a GPA below 3.0, regardless of passing all courses, is required to improve their grades to meet the minimum GPA of 3.0 before registering.

Single Degree

When are single-degree scheme students eligible to participate in the student exchange or fee-paying study abroad program?

Students are eligible to participate in student exchange or fee-paying study abroad programs once they have successfully completed a minimum of 72 academic credits, as outlined in the Dean’s Decree.

What preparations must students complete before participating in a student exchange program at an overseas partner university?

Students who will take part in the fee-paying study abroad program must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Requirements:
    • Have passed a minimum 72 credits with a GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 during the application process
  • Language Proficiency:
    • An overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no sub-band less than 6.0, or
    • TOEFL iBT score of overall 85 with no sub-band less than 20
    • Additional language requirement for student going to UDE, A2 Level German

What preparations must students complete before participating in a fee-paying study abroad program at an overseas partner university?

Students who will take part in the fee-paying study abroad program must meet the following requirements:

  • Academic Requirements:
    • Have passed a minimum 72 credits during the application process
  • Language Proficiency:
    • An overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no sub-band less than 6.0, or
    • TOEFL iBT score of overall 85 with no sub-band less than 20

What is the procedure for students participating in a student exchange program?

  • Prepare your study plan and have it signed by your academic supervisor and the head or secretary of your department.
  • Request a recommendation letter by completing this form.
  • Submit the required documents to the International Office UI or the International Office FTUI by the specified deadline.
  • The International Office UI or FTUI reviews the applicants’ documents and contacts those who pass the selection process.
  • The International Office UI or FTUI sends the recommendation letter and other supporting documents of the recommended students to the partner university via email or airmail.
  • The partner university informs the International Office UI or FTUI about the acceptance results and scholarship availability, if any, for the recommended students via email.
  • The partner university sends the Letter of Acceptance to the International Office UI or FTUI.
