How To Apply

FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
  1. UI Student with active status
  2. Students should be at least in their 3rd semester at UI by the time of application
  3. Have not registered 144 credits at UI (including credits on the last semester at UI before departing for exchange) by the time of application
  4. Mandatory to transfer credits exchange period to UI
  5. Will not graduate from UI, until the exchange period is completed
  6. GPA minimum 3.2 (all major)
  7. English Proficiency Standard
    1. TOEFL PBT min. 550
    2. TOEFL IPT min. 550
    3. TOEFL iBT min. 80
    4. IELTS min. 6,5
    5. Duolingo equals to IELTS min. 6,5
  8. Mandatory to purchase International Insurance that cover Covid-19 Treatment
  9. Mandatory to have passport before applying
  10. Never participate in IISMA and other physical exchange programs and never participate in an abroad program with a scholarship that manages by IO UI

Required Documents 
  1. Faculty recommendation letter signed by Dean or Vice Dean with particular information needs to be included
  2. Legalized latest transcripts (Min. GPA of 3.2)
  3. Latest course plan (IRS)
  4. English Proficiency Certificate
  5. CV
  6. Motivation Letter
  7. Statement letter of willingness not to leave the country if the faculty does not give permission
  8. Written approval letter of departure from parents
  9. Study plan
Application Process
    1. The applicants submit the required documents to the International Office by the deadline at the latest.
    2. International Office reviews the documents of the applicants and contacts the applicants who pass the selection process for the interview.
    3. International Office interviews the selected candidates to be nominated to the partner universities.
    4. International Office sends the letter of recommendation and other supporting documents of the recommended students to the partner university by e-mail and airmail.
    5. Partner university informs the result of acceptance and the scholarship if any of the recommended students by e-mail.
    6. Partner university sends the Letter of Acceptance to the International Office of Universitas Indonesia.
