Exchange Program

Eligibility:

  1. Have completed at least one year of full-time study at one of UI’s exchange partner institutions at the time of application
  2. Be nominated by the exchange office of the home university (Director of International Office or equivalent) for the exchange program
  3. Have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 4-point scale, or it’s equivalent)
  4. Meet language requirements of the offered courses
  5. Be able to self-finance during the study period at UI
  6. Be willing to abide by UI rules and regulations

Application Documents

For application, you need to submit the following documents

  1. Application Form (UI Form)
  2. Nomination Form (UI Form)
  3. 2 (two) Letters of Recommendation (UI Form)
  4. Statement of Financial Guarantee (UI Form)
  5. Certificate of Health (UI Form)
  6. Housing Form (if necessary)
  7. Law and Employment Declaration (UI Form)
  8. CV / Resume
  9. Certificate of Enrolment (from home university)
  10. Academic Transcript (certified true copy, in English)
  11. Statement of Purpose (in Bahasa Indonesia/English, 500 words, explaining your purpose of study)
  12. English Certificate (for Non-English speaking country)
    – TOEFL ITP or PBT: 550
    – TOEFL iBT: 80
    – IELTS: 6.0
    – Or higher to meet the requirement of the offered courses
  13. Bahasa Indonesia Certificate/TIBA Test Result (required to join Regular Program)
  14. Copy of Passport
  15. Bank Statement (requested from bank)
  16. 2 (two) Current Photos (size 4×6)

Application Process

Application materials for the regular semester program should be sent to the International Office (IO), where the admission process will be handled. International Office will issue an admission package to you after your application has been approved by the related faculty. The official letter of acceptance will be provided by the International Office since you will need our letter in order to obtain a Student Visa to enter Indonesia. Once you arrive at UI, we will serve as your point of contact during your stay.
