Marcus August Forsman and Juuso Samuel Syrjala, two students from Aalto University, Finland, will take part in a study exchange program at FTUI. Marcus will study in Mechanical Engineering, while Juuso Samuel will study in Electrical Engineering. These two students have also undergone study exchange socialization and IRS filling tutorials at SIAK NG on Tuesday (23/01).
This socialization is intended for foreign students who will take part in lectures in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year at FTUI. The purpose of this socialization is to accompany the academic registration process and deliver lecture procedures at FTUI. In addition, foreign students can consult regarding lectures that will be carried out in the future. There are three agendas carried out in the socialization of study exchange, namely student introduction, SIAK-NG tutorials, and recommendations for courses to be taken.
“We’ve seen the list of lessons provided. There are many interesting things,” Marcus said. Samuel added, “We are also looking forward to cultural lessons as well, such as Indonesian or Gamelan.”
The Dean of FTUI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Heri Hermansyah, S.T., M.Eng., IPU said, “Their presence brings an international spirit to our academic environment, creating valuable opportunities for knowledge and cultural exchange. This is a concrete step in realizing our vision to be a global learning hub that connects students with diverse learning experiences.”
In addition to two foreign students, this socialization was also attended by Dr. Nyoman Suwartha, S.T., M.T., M.Agr. as Education Manager; Fadhilah Muslim, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., DIC as Head of FTUI International Office; Dr.-Ing. Ridho Irwansyah, S.T., M.T. as lecturer & representative of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; I Gde Dharma Nugraha, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. as lecturer & representative of the Department of Electrical Engineering; Amilia Novitasari, S.Sos, M.M. as Assistant Education Manager; and Zafira R. Ummah, S.Ars., M.Ars. as International Mobility Coordinator.
