‘Chinese Government Scholarship—High-Level Postgraduate Program’ is a full scholarship program offering to the provincial educational administration departments and Chinese universities in some provinces and autonomous regions of China. It is applied to some Chinese universities to directly select and enroll outstanding foreign young students to study in China.

Eligibility

Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in a good health
Education background and age limit:
- Those who apply for doctoral degree programs in China should hold a Master’s degree or equivalent, excel in academic performance, and should be generally under the age of 40
- Those who apply for master degree programs in China should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, excel in academic performance, and should be generally under the age of 35
- Applicants shall have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 when applying for Chinese-taught Master’s or Doctoral programs
- Applicants shall meet the admission requirements of SWJTU in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria
